Wednesday nights are a time for children to have fun while learning about God. We gather together to sing
and review the previous week's lesson. Every other week there is a 15 minute video from the "Friends and Heroes"
collection. After the video we break into smaller groups to learn more about the Biblical application by an age appropriate
lesson. There are games, crafts and questions for each group. Every month there is a party to celebrate different
holidays, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine's Day etc... Talk to a child who has watched a movie, or cartoon
on T.V. They always know more about what happened because they remember more when they see and hear. Parents who
had children go through our Wednesday program last year will tell you how excited the kids are in class and how much
more they know about God. Join us when we start back up in September. Your child(ren) will be different because
of it!

This week we had our monthly party. The word for the week is "content". Children
need to be taught to be content with the things they have so that as adults they can be content. We learned about the
man in Luke 12:1-22 who had a huge amount of crops. Instead of being happy (or content) he decided to knock down his
barns and build bigger. God called him "a fool" for tonight he would be dead. Don't gather
more and more earthly riches . Lay up your riches in Heaven. Our verse for this week
Luke12:19,20-a
And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years, take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry. But
God said unto him, Thou fool.
